I made the Pork Osso-Bucco tonight and it was DELICIOUS!! I was cooking for about an hour but I take my time, So here is the picture of the meal on the recipe page. It was supposed to take me 40 minutes and I may have been close. I assumed an hour but I wasn't really timing my. As far as how hard the meal was, it wasn't "hard" or even intermediate. The hardest part was standing by the risotto for over 20 minutes constantly stirring. It was worth every minute though. I have had meals similar to this at restaurants and this was on par with those.![]() |
| Cremini mushrooms, minced garlic, shallots, thyme |

| The osso bucco when I started cooking it in the mushroom sauce |
![]() |
| Tomato, garlic, shallot relish with thyme This made the flavor of the pork and risotto really pop! |

| The finished product! The pork was incredibly tender! |
This meal is definitely worth a remake!

I received my 3rd box from HomeChef today! I'm really liking this company, but I don't have anything else to compare it to yet. I recently set up an account with Marley Spoon and should be receiving a box from them on the 9th. So this week I received...I am REALLY excited to try this week out. This is the first week I didn't get a salad and those have actually been the standout meals so far in the past 2 weeks. Well the salads and the steaks and this chicken with a saffron beurre blanc (I feel fancy saying that) were all really good.
Tomorrow I'm asctually going to make a meal from last week that I hadn't gotten to yet. A sous-vide pork osso buco with parmesan risotto, mushroom-shallot sauce, and tomato-thyme relish. I'll post pictures tomorrow!
